Katastari

It is separated in two villages, Pano Katastari and Kato Katastari. The old one is stretching on a fertile plain. They lie 15km north-west of the capital and they have 1,191 inhabitants.

Worth seing places:

• The deserted monastery of Agios Ioannis the "Prodromos", built in the middle of the 17th century.
• The thermal spring of Tsouri, in the area of Agios Demetrios. Its water are curative for diseases of the skin.
