A nice seaside suburb, 27klm from Athens, with a quick rate of development in the later years. It has many discos, shops and a well organized beach. It used to be the municipality Anargiroudos of the tribe Erehthiides. Inscriptions that report the worship of Ifaistos, Athena and of Dioskouroi, the temple of the gods' mother, and a sanctuary of Dionisos were found here. Also the excavations revealed a cemetery of the 7th century BC The cave of the nymphs where Pan, Apollo and the nymphs were worshiped, has also been found here.
