Littoral Manian village, pattern of traditional architecture, built on level slope where Taygetus mountain ends. Land, houses and towers of stone, that is why it is called Cotronas which means land of stone. At its small mole, vessels and fishing boats anchor. It is 87km south of Sparta and it has 616 inhabitants. Nowadays Kotronas is united with the group of houses of Scoutari.
