As you pass Pythagorio and before reaching the famous lake " Glyfada " the asphalt road on the left, guides you to a wonderfull residental, well known as Potokaki.

What you see there today, does not look like what it used to.

Then, in Potokaki, you could see small handicrafts producing the famous " liasto " wine with the old traditional way ; by step on grapes, then distil the pit to take the final extract which is the famous " tsikoudia ".

In Potokaki also used to operate other handicrafts, making white and green soap.

Local fishermen used to maintain small fishhuts to protect their boats from the strong winds in the winter time.

Potokaki, mentioned as " paralimano " in Polycrates time and " harbor " of Hora in Principality times.

Today, Potokaki is a wonderfull tourist place, full of life in the summer time.
