Centre of Citizens' Service (CCS)
Since 2002, there is a Centre of Citizens' Service on Psara. The foundation of the centre in this remote island was necessary because in the past residents had to visit Chios every time they had to deal with civil maters. That meant a huge discomfort for the population of the island and also an important financial cost, as some times it was necessary for them to stay overnight in Chios.
