In the south of the museum there are some pillars already restored with Corinthian capitals and pieces from the architrave. They are on a higher level from the ground and it seems that the building was constructed during the imperial times. It’s Octaviu’s temple the sister of August who succeeded Caesar to the throne, the settler of Corinth. It is a work of the first century AC and it must be underlined that it displayed such a grandeur from an artistic aspect that it could compete with Apollon’s temple.
